Role Overview:
The Business Development Specialist supports the identification and acquisition of new clients, primarily within the FMCG sector. This role is suited for a results-oriented professional with hands-on experience in sales, account management, or business development, contributing to revenue growth through client acquisition and relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields
- At least 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Experience handling FMCG clients or accounts is highly preferred
- Background in logistics or FMCG industry is an advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify business opportunities and support sales targets
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities, focusing on FMCG clients
- Support the development and execution of business development initiatives and sales plans
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery
- Assist in monitoring market trends and competitor activities
- Prepare reports on sales activities, pipeline, and performance updates
- Support account management efforts to ensure client satisfaction and retention
