Accounting Manager

Location: Makati | Full Onsite | Monday to Friday : Morning Shift

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting; must be a licensed CPA.
With at least 8 years of experience in general accounting and at least 2 years of experience in a managerial position.
Preferably with accounting experience within the retail industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform depreciation calculations.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
