Position Title: Project Engineer Line Expansion

Role Overview:

The Project Engineer will lead and deliver major line expansion projects within a beverage manufacturing environment, including installation of new bottling and packaging lines, associated utilities systems, and civil/structural/architectural (CSA) works. This role requires strong end-to-end project leadership experience from design through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and safely, while meeting quality and operational performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new line expansion and installation projects in the bottling and packaging operations.
  • Oversee engineering design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, EHS) to integrate new lines into existing operations.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and change controls to ensure adherence to project milestones.
  • Supervise and manage contractors, vendors, and external engineering consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular project progress reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • 710 years experience in project management within bottling, packaging, or beverage manufacturing industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in line expansion, utilities installation, and CSA works.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (planning, execution, commissioning).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) is an advantage.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
