Location: North Luzon
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (with flexibility for site requirements)
Employment Type: Project-based (2 years) with annual project bonuses

About the Role

We are seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to support the safe and compliant execution of greenfield manufacturing projects in North Luzon. The role is responsible for overseeing daily safety practices on-site, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to both local and international safety standards. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a secure working environment during plant construction and set-up, while collaborating with contractors and project teams to embed a strong culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safety compliance across construction and plant development sites.
• Implement and monitor adherence to established safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
• Support safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for workers and contractors.
• Manage and maintain accurate documentation of safety-related files, reports, permits, and incident logs.
• Collaborate with site management, project engineers, and contractors to strengthen workplace safety culture.
• Provide recommendations and assist in continuous improvement of safety management practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction safety, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or large-scale industrial plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of local and international construction safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective/preventive action planning.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across site teams and contractors.
• Safety-related certifications (e.g., DOLE-accredited Safety Officer, COSH, BOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
