Job Description:
The Accounting Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management and control of project-related costs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting of all project expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and record project-related (CAPEX) transactions
Ensure all project expenses are properly approved, documented, and coded
Track project budgets vs actual spend and highlight variances
Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities
Prepare project cost reports and financial summaries for management
Assist in internal and external audit requirements
Maintain accurate project financial records in the accounting system (e.g., SAP or similar ERP)
Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and finance stakeholders
Support process improvements in project cost tracking and controls
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is preferred
At least 4-5 years of experience in project accounting, cost accounting, or general accounting
Proven experience handling CAPEX or project-based transactions
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data handling, basic analysis, reporting)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, FICO, MM, PS or Asset Accounting modules) is preferred
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Good communication and coordination skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
