About the job Lease Administrator (Commercial Real Estate)
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate lease administration, preferably with background working in a US-based company.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate lease language and terminology.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships across departments and stakeholders.
Ability to adapt quickly and confidently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with lease accounting software preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage real estate leases using lease accounting software, including inputting new leases, updating existing lease information, and generating reports as required/requested.
Maintain and regularly update internal real estate property reports and lease documentation in alignment with ongoing transactions.
Track lease expiration dates and other critical deadlines outlined in lease documents to ensure timely completion of related tasks and compliance with lease terms.
Participate in weekly update meetings with the Director of Facilities Management and the companys contracted real estate broker partner to review current transactions.
Review transactional lease documents (e.g., LOIs) to confirm alignment with business requirements and ensure standard lease language provisions are included.
Draft various lease-related documents such as notices, lease amendments, and other required communications.
Collect and compile information and data to support upcoming transactions or lease-related decisions.
Provide timely and accurate support to U.S.-based stakeholders regarding lease terms, conditions, and obligations.
