Job Title: Project Architect Site Support

Job Summary:

The Project Architect Site Support will provide on-site architectural and technical support during the construction phase, focusing on the execution and completion of building works, particularly final finishes for office spaces, central utility buildings, and other commercial/industrial facilities. The role ensures design intent is implemented, construction quality is upheld, and site coordination is effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the architectural field engineer, overseeing and facilitating all architectural aspects of construction works on-site.
  • Monitor and supervise finishing works for office buildings, central utility buildings, and other project structures to ensure adherence to approved plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate execution of architectural works.
  • Provide technical support to the construction team in resolving design-related issues and clarifying architectural details during construction.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to check construction progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings for architectural works.
  • Assist the Construction Manager in progress reporting, issue tracking, and documentation of architectural works on site.
  • Support project close-out activities including punch listing, defect rectification, and turnover of completed works.
  • Ensure all architectural works are delivered within the project schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect (RA or equivalent).
  • At least 35 years of experience in site-based architectural or field engineering roles.
  • Experience in commercial or industrial building construction projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, finishing works, and building codes.
  • Skilled in reviewing shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other architectural software; familiar with MS Office and project documentation tools.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to be assigned on-site full-time.
