About the job Head of Network Expansion
The Head of Network Expansion is responsible for leading the end-to-end strategy for identifying, evaluating, and securing new locations to support the organizations long-term growth. This role oversees site sourcing, feasibility analysis, negotiations, and approval processes while ensuring that expansion initiatives align with the companys commercial objectives and market strategy.
The role requires a senior professional with strong experience in site acquisition, property negotiations, and expansion planning, capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders across different regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Expansion Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute the organizations location expansion strategy aligned with business growth objectives.

Identify priority markets and evaluate opportunities for new locations based on demographic, commercial, and competitive analysis.

Lead market research, area mapping, and feasibility assessments to support expansion decisions.
Site Sourcing & Evaluation

Identify and secure potential sites, properties, or land suitable for business operations.

Conduct site visits and evaluate potential locations based on strategic, operational, and financial criteria.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure proposed sites meet operational requirements.
Negotiation & Deal Structuring

Lead negotiations with property owners, developers, brokers, and relevant stakeholders to secure favorable commercial and contractual terms.

Manage lease agreements, property acquisition discussions, and contract amendments where necessary.
Project Coordination & Approvals

Oversee documentation, internal approvals, and coordination required to finalize new site acquisitions.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for development and operational launch.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, developers, brokers, and industry partners.

Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, legal, operations, and project development throughout the expansion process.
Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor the expansion or site acquisition team.

Monitor project pipelines, track expansion progress, and ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Urban Planning, or related field.

8–12+ years of experience in site acquisition, property development, expansion planning, or real estate strategy.

Proven experience leading negotiations and securing commercial property agreements.

Strong understanding of market analysis, feasibility assessment, and expansion strategy.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or multi-site projects.

Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
