Position Title: IT Controller
Location: NCR (Metro Manila)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Industry Experience Required: Must have prior experience in either retail or e-commerce industry

The IT Controller will lead the financial oversight and operational governance of all IT initiatives within the company. This role ensures cost control, compliance, and alignment of IT strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Financial Management

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the IT departments annual budget.
  • Track and control IT operational expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Analyze IT project costs and ROI; recommend cost-optimization initiatives.
  • Manage vendor contracts, software licenses, and procurement from a financial standpoint.

2. Technology Oversight

  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure systems for both physical stores (POS, inventory, ERP) and online (order management, payment systems, platforms) run efficiently.
  • Align IT systems and upgrades with evolving business requirements.

3. Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data privacy regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act), and IT audit requirements.
  • Support risk mitigation strategies and IT disaster recovery planning.

4. Reporting & Governance

  • Generate reports on IT spending, system performance, and KPI tracking.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data and analytics.
  • Monitor system usage, helpdesk metrics, and service uptime.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT financial management, IT audit, or IT operations.
  • Must come from the Retail or E-commerce industry.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT), and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical, budgeting, and reporting skills.
