About the job Associate Dean
Job Purpose:
Oversees the academic programs across all school units, ensuring the delivery of a balanced, challenging, and values-based education aligned with the institutions mission, educational philosophy, and national standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Leads the Academic Council, resolves academic issues, and communicates policy changes to stakeholders; escalates major decisions to executive management.

Serves as the principal academic representative to the school community, ensuring clarity and consistency in academic communications.

Oversees curriculum implementation and continuous development, ensuring integration of values education and enhancement of learning outcomes.

Guides initiatives to improve student performance in internal and external assessments, academic contests, and college entrance exams.

Directs action research projects, curriculum innovations, and acquisition of educational resources and technologies.

Supervises teacher training programs, classroom observations, and professional development for faculty and department heads.

Ensures compliance with education-related legislation and regulatory standards.

Oversees the Learning Resource Center, ensuring the availability of appropriate and doctrinally sound materials.

Manages textbook and reference material selection in collaboration with department heads.

Leads the orientation and integration programs for new teachers.

Directs and evaluates department heads' performance in implementing curriculum and instructional standards.

Plans and supervises external teacher training and research partnerships with educational institutions and professional organizations.

Prepares regular academic progress reports for executive management and participates actively in leadership committees.
