Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in human resources with focus on compensation, benefits, or Total Rewards.
  • Must have strong background in retail and proven track record in designing and implementing competitive compensation & benefits strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, and performance management processes.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and compensation data to make informed decisions.
  • Prior experience in retail or similar industries is preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and data analytics tools, with strong Excel skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement compensation strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and competitive positioning in the market.
  • Oversee the development and administration of compensation structures, including salary reviews, merit increases, and performance-based bonuses.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure compensation packages are competitive and equitable, and adjust as needed to stay aligned with industry standards.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other benefits, ensuring they are cost-effective and meet employee needs.
  • Design and manage incentive plans, including bonus programs, to drive individual and team performance while aligning with the companys goals.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of compensation and benefits offerings to employees, fostering understanding and engagement.
  • Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to assess the effectiveness of Total Rewards programs, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Work closely with HR leadership to integrate Total Rewards into the companys employee value proposition and overall talent management strategy.
  • Support managers with Total Rewards-related inquiries, providing guidance on compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Regularly review and update Total Rewards programs to ensure alignment with market trends, company objectives, and employee needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external benefits vendors, compensation consultants, and other third-party partners to optimize offerings and manage costs.
