Role Overview:
The National Manufacturing Director is responsible for leading and managing manufacturing operations across multiple production facilities nationwide. This role ensures optimal performance of equipment and facilities, adherence to safety and quality standards, and efficient use of resources. It provides technical and engineering leadership across the supply chain, supporting business goals through sustainable practices and strategic project execution.

The role also oversees the implementation of strategic initiatives and capital projects, promoting operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the national manufacturing strategy in alignment with supply chain objectives, overseeing logistics, quality, maintenance, technical services, and IT.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans and direct plant leadership teams in achieving performance goals.
  • Align with corporate programs to ensure resource efficiency and production service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements for safety, environmental protection, and social responsibility.
  • Foster a safety-first culture and lead engagement with community and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Oversee maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and operational cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor production efficiency, identify deviations, and implement corrective measures.
  • Plan and implement capital expenditures to address capacity constraints and technology upgrades.
  • Integrate supply chain operations from raw material sourcing to distribution, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Support supplier management, warehouse operations, and inventory control initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems and documentation.
  • Coordinate with plant quality teams to validate operational changes and safeguard product integrity.
  • Participate in audits and reviews to identify improvement opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor energy usage and lead energy-saving initiatives through technology adoption and best practices.
  • Manage utility infrastructure projects to support water sustainability and well integrity.
  • Standardize production parameters and optimize manufacturing performance across all plants.
  • Lead the preventive maintenance strategy, asset management, and training initiatives for technical teams.
  • Execute capital projects aligned with strategic goals, from planning through post-implementation evaluation.
  • Provide technical expertise and engineering support for new technologies, equipment enhancements, and facility improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver regulatory-compliant, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field; professional licensure is preferred.
  • Minimum of 56 years of senior management experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in bottling, food, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Background in multinational organizations and at least 2 years of international work experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, safety regulations, quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO/FSSC), asset management, and production tools such as SAP, TPM, and Kaizen.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilities management (water treatment, refrigeration, air compression), project implementation, and automation systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale plant networks with strong stakeholder engagement and innovation capabilities.
