JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for creating designs that align with the brands identity and overall business strategy.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with supervisors in sourcing and developing materials, including lab dips and strike-offs.
- Prepare detailed product specification sheets to guide the production process.
- Create designs that align with the brand's image, target market, and pricing strategy, following established guidelines on concept and color direction.
- Develop and regularly update all CAD files and product specification documents.
- Ensure all technical instructions and specifications are accurate and complete before uploading.
- Possess a strong technical understanding of the assigned product category.
- Review and validate worksheets and spec sheets before submitting to the Product Development Team.
- Participate in fit sessions and sample evaluations as needed.
- Support the Design Manager, particularly in developing color palettes and seasonal concepts.
- Contribute to various projects as needed, including brochures, uniforms, look books, and assistance during photoshoots or fashion shows.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Garment Technology: Basic understanding of textile properties, garment construction, pattern making, and fashion illustration.
- Merchandising: Knowledge of the merchandise lifecycle and the retail industry; ability to interpret merchandising trends.
- Brand Alignment: Ability to design products that reflect the brands identity and appeal to its target market.
- Design Principles: Proficiency in applying color theory, design elements, and executing concepts through various media.
