Role Overview:
The Electrical Support Engineer plays a key role in the planning, design, and execution of electrical infrastructure projects and energy efficiency initiatives within the plant. This includes overseeing systems such as power substations, electrical distribution networks, lighting, and equipment installations. The role ensures that all installations comply with corporate standards and regulatory requirements while supporting strategic initiatives related to water and wastewater treatment systems. The engineer will also manage project schedules, budgets, and ensure successful execution in alignment with the overall project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and plan designs for electrical systems and infrastructure, including energy efficiency projects.
- Oversee the project schedule related to electrical works and facility installations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) from various countries.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and CCEP counterparts.
- Identify and manage risks related to equipment installation and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Address communication gaps between internal teams and external vendors to prevent project delays.
- Develop strategies to resolve issues that arise during project execution.
- Review and assess construction and installation design plans.
- Manage relationships with both internal stakeholders and external contractors/suppliers.
- Ensure the day-to-day execution aligns with the strategic plans through effective project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical facility installation and energy efficiency implementation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in greenfield projects (preferred).
- Project Management Certification (preferred).
- Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer.
