About the Role:

The Head of Finance is a strategic leader responsible for the operational excellence and continuous improvement of our financial shared services. This role drives efficiency and scalability across global finance operations, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic goals. They will lead end-to-end process optimization, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and play a crucial role in talent development and organizational transformation within finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership, development, and operational excellence for the financial shared services.
  • Drive scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in finance operations.
  • Oversee end-to-end service delivery, including migration, execution, and optimization of financial processes across multiple geographies.
  • Ensure alignment with global financial standards, approved budgets, and efficiency targets.
  • Partner with Global Process Owners and regional stakeholders to standardize processes and implement best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with Finance Directors and key stakeholders to ensure high service levels and effective issue resolution.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal controls, legal, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead talent development, change management, and cultivate a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; advanced accounting knowledge, master's level, or additional certification is an advantage.
  • CPA license is required.
  • A combined minimum of 10 years of experience in managing and handling accounting functions.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a management role, including direct staff supervision, leading teams of 150-300 members.
  • At least 5 years of experience within a shared services or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) setting on a regional finance capacity.
  • Experience in change management and working effectively in diverse multicultural and international environments.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regional accounting practices and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and managing projects.
  • A genuine interest in business process standardization.
  • Demonstrated customer orientation and strong intercultural competency.
  • A results-driven approach coupled with a decisive coaching leadership style.
  • Familiarity with Oracle E Business Suite and other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
