The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a high level of independence and leadership in managing accounting activities and supporting both local and overseas operations. Candidates must have prior experience in a manufacturing environment and exposure to international reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial records and reports
  • Oversee employee benefits–related transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss monitoring, providing insights to support business decisions
  • Prepare and present management and executive reports for Philippine operations and US headquarters
  • Coordinate and oversee month-end closing activities in collaboration with the US finance team
  • Manage banking activities, cash monitoring, and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Oversee ERP-based accounting transactions (preferably Odoo or similar systems) to ensure data integrity and efficient processes
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine taxation, online tax filings, and other statutory and administrative requirements
  • Manage PEZA reporting and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Drive continuous process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA is an advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance leadership role within a manufacturing company
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L analysis
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of PEZA regulations, Philippine tax compliance, and statutory reporting
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with experience working with global teams
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willing to work on-site in Batangas
