Position Overview
The Finance Head & Treasurer will lead the financial management, accounting, and treasury functions of a premier Trust and Asset Management firm. Reporting directly to the President, the successful candidate will oversee capital management, regulatory reporting, and risk mitigation while leading a specialized finance team.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Governance: Oversee financial accounting, statement preparation, and management reporting in accordance with PFRS.
Treasury & Capital Management: Manage capital requirements and basic security deposits specifically for trust operations.
Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to trust regulations, local statutory requirements, and internal risk frameworks.
Strategic Leadership: Act as a key advisor to the President on financial performance and lead a team of four professionals.
Technical Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Professional Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct experience within a Trust Department or a Trust Corporation.
Technical Background: Minimum 5 years in audit, financial statement preparation, or investment/asset management operations within a reputable financial institution.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep expertise in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local banking/trust regulations.
