About the job Lease Administrator

The Lease Administrator is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining lease and lease-related documents and correspondence for a complex portfolio of leased real estate properties for a US-based health care company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage real estate leases in lease accounting software, including adding new leases, updating existing lease information, and generating reports as required.
  • Update and maintain various internal real estate property reports and lease documentation as needed based on transactions.
  • Monitor lease expiration dates and other time-sensitive information to ensure timely completion of tasks in accordance with lease requirements.
  • Participate in weekly calls to review ongoing transactions with the Director of Facilities Management and contracted Real Estate Broker Partner.
  • Review transactional lease documents (e.g., LOIs) to ensure business requirements are met and standard lease language elements are addressed.
  • Draft necessary documents such as notices, lease amendments, and related correspondence.
  • Gather and compile information for upcoming transactions as required.
  • Provide support to US-based stakeholders regarding lease terms, conditions, and compliance matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of commercial real estate lease administration experience preferred.
  • Must be amenable for Night Shift
  • Strong understanding of real estate lease language.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Skilled in coordinating groups with differing priorities and perspectives.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and confidently to shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.); familiarity with lease accounting software is an advantage.
