Position: Head of Enterprise Risk
Location: Ortigas, Pasig City
Work Setup: Onsite 4x/week, 1x/week WFH
Schedule: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned risk professional to lead and strengthen our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that frameworks, policies, and processes are robust, compliant with BSP regulations, and aligned with industry best practices. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, the position provides direct executive exposure and is designed for a strong leader with proven experience in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework in compliance with BSP and regulatory standards.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report key risks across all business units to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Draft and enforce risk policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Provide strategic risk insights and recommendations to the CRO and senior leadership.
- Conduct risk assessments, stress tests, and scenario analyses to support business continuity planning and informed decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting and submissions.
- Act as subject-matter expert in regulatory risk requirements and emerging best practices in the banking sector.
- Partner with business leaders to embed risk culture and raise awareness across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Risk Management, with proven background in policy formulation and implementation within a bank.
- Strong expertise in BSP regulations, banking risk frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and roll out enterprise-wide risk initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in dealing with senior executives and regulators.
- Professional certifications in risk management (FRM, PRM) are a strong advantage.
- Professionals that is Sr. Manager Level to AVP level is highly preferred.
