Position: Chief Operating Officer
Work Setup: Onsite (BGC)
Role Summary
Leads overall operations, ensures strong processes and controls, manages day-to-day activities, and drives operational excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and improve operational systems, processes, and controls to support business needs.
- Manage outsourced service providers and ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement operational policies and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting to clients.
- Oversee preparation and submission of required reports to regulators and management.
- Lead and guide the operations team, ensuring effective communication and strong performance.
- Implement sound risk management practices to protect assets and operations.
Required Expertise
- Strong knowledge of trust and asset management operations.
- Understanding of financial markets and commercial drivers.
- Experience in both local and offshore markets is an advantage.
Problem-Solving Skills
- Able to manage complex operational and compliance issues.
- Works well in changing or ambiguous situations.
Education & Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in trust, fiduciary, or investment operations; or
- 5 years as an officer in a financial institution with required regulatory training.
