Onboarding Specialist
About the job Onboarding Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding process for new employees
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, documentation, and compliance checks
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure effective company integration
- Serve as the main point of contact for onboarding-related concerns
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and department heads to ensure readiness of new hires (equipment, access, schedules, etc.)
- Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate employee records
- Continuously improve onboarding programs and employee experience
- Ensure new hires are aligned with company culture, policies, and expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or employee engagement roles
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable handling multiple onboarding cases simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Experience using HRIS or onboarding systems is an advantage
