Role Overview

As a Luggage Porter, you will be the first point of contact for guests upon arrival. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in customer-facing roles and take pride in delivering outstanding guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with luggage upon arrival and departure
• Escort guests to rooms, explaining hotel features and amenities
• Handle luggage storage, retrieval, and delivery in a timely manner
• Coordinate with Front Office and Concierge teams for guest requests
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and appearance standards
• Offer local information or directions when requested
• Ensure safe handling of guest property at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar Luggage Porter or Bellhop role is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Presentable, well-groomed, and professional appearance
• Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage
• Polite, courteous, and guest-focused approach
• Punctual, dependable, and proactive attitude
• Eligibility to work in the UK
