Job Description:
Role Overview
As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operation of the hotel during the night. Your duties will include supporting late check-ins and early departures, assisting guests with luggage, conducting security checks, and ensuring public areas remain presentable and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during the night
- Carry out regular security and fire safety checks
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, or issues promptly and professionally
- Support front desk operations and liaise with night reception where needed
- Ensure all common/public areas are clean and well-maintained
- Assist with luggage, room service requests, or porter duties
- Set up or break down meeting rooms or dining areas as required
- Report maintenance or safety issues immediately
- Maintain a calm, reassuring presence during night hours
Experience Required
- Prior experience in a similar Night Porter or night shift role in the UK is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service protocols desirable
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative during low-traffic hours

- Flexible and available for night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Eligible to work in the UK and able to travel to Central London or Surrey
