Role Overview
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in guest rooms and public areas. Your role will play a vital part in ensuring guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to hotel standards
- Replace linens, replenish guest amenities, and remove waste
- Report any maintenance issues or lost property to supervisors
- Handle guest requests promptly and professionally
- Adhere to health & safety and infection control guidelines at all times
- Follow proper handling of chemicals and cleaning equipment
- Ensure all cleaning checklists and housekeeping protocols are followed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant in hotels is required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
