Service Line Advisor
Job Description:
Overview:
As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their vehicle service needs. You will coordinate communication between customers and technicians to ensure a smooth, efficient, and satisfying service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Service Intake:

Greet customers professionally and actively listen to their vehicle concerns.

Assess vehicle conditions and history; advise on necessary services or repairs.

Add open recalls and RSUs to scheduled service appointments.
Repair Order Management:

Prepare clear, accurate repair orders detailing issues, required services, and estimated costs.

Communicate technical information in simple terms customers can understand.
Coordination & Communication:

Dispatch vehicles to technicians for diagnosis and repairs.

Collaborate closely with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repair completion.

Maintain scheduling for customer vehicle returns after service is complete.
Customer Relations & Satisfaction:

Provide updates to customers on service progress and estimated completion times.

Handle customer complaints with professionalism and work to resolve issues.

Maintain and manage customer loaner vehicle logs and ensure proper upkeep of the loaner fleet.
Continuous Learning:

Stay current with automotive service trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in customer service, preferably within the automotive industry.

Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
Skills & Abilities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate documentation.

Valid drivers license.
Physical Requirements:
