AVP - IT Governance & NOC

 Job Description:

  • Manage all technical operations on IT systems, including the underlying infrastructure as well as applications
  • Manage the configuration and deployment of software
  • Manage level 1 and level 2 support for all IT systems and applications, including 24/7 technical support as well as rostering of technical support for levels 1,2 and 3
  • Develop budgets, policies and procedures for network operations, DevOps and support sub-divisions
  • Develop IT governance model and processes to achieve a flexible, efficient approach continuously improving processes and aligning with group governance to maximize effectiveness
  • Plan change management activities that meet the different needs and values of the individual teams across the IT function maximizing impact and minimizing employee resistance
  • Lead, influence, diagnose and develop recommendations to solve complex, enterprise-wide and process-specific ambiguous problems
  • Ensure specific metrics and measures are incorporated into solutions enabling continuous improvement.
  • Daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization
  • Plan, monitor, and record software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts
  • Create procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization
  • Develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles
