Role Summary:

Ensure collection of receivables and to reduce bad debts through vigilant monitoring of debtor accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

·         Support on ad-hoc projects such as the implementation of new regional tools/processes.

·         Ensure accurate and timely provisions are made for monthly expenditure, accruals and accounts payable through consultation with functional heads.

·         Liaise to ensure an accurate and timely audit.

·         Liaise to ensure the accurate and timely processing of inter-company expenses and payments.

·         Liaise in producing month-end statements.

·         Liaise on report compilation.

·         Liaise with respect to overdraft facilities, etc.

·         Liaise with external auditors.

·         Ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

·         Prepare assets and liabilities reconciliation statement.

·         Support the forecast of daily bank balances and requirements.

·         Assist in compiling the AOP.

·         Ensure the effective and proper management of petty cash.

·         Ensure timely and accurate vendors and suppliers accounts payable.

·         Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department.

·         Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department.

·         Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

·         Consult performance appraisal.

·         Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets

·         Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly-skilled functional department.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.  

·         2 years of experience in accounting in related industry (preferable)

·         Min. of 1-year supervisory experience (preferable).

·         Good in Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

·         Good in Analytical skills.

·         Good in SAP Skill
