Head of Supply Chain [Manufacturing]

 Job Description:

Purpose of the Job:

 

The successful incumbent will be responsible for improving and think creatively about the process of the supply chain. The role will have a regional impact on business  value  and collaboration by evaluating, brainstorming, and implementing effective and efficient supply chain processes to further improve safety, quality and continuous improvement of our business requirement while maximizing cost savings. It will require a commitment to understanding and learning about the past and present processes while proactively moulding future processes thereby establishing a clear path for growth and expansion.


Process responsibility:


  •          Site Sales & operational planning (S&OP)
  •          Site logistics planning & execution (S&OE)
  •          Interface to “Order to Cash (OTC) & Purchase to Pay ( PTP)”
  •          Quality Management  (QM) – ISO, OSHAS,
  •          Bonded Zone operational process( BZ)
  •          Environmental Management (Sustainability)
  •          Safety Management
  •          Legal Management & Compliance



Principal Accountabilities / Main Tasks:


  •          End to end responsibility from “Raw material planning” (Pulp – operational, Tactical & Strategical), Production planning, Sales volume alignment with commercial leadership team, warehousing and logistics operations and bonded zone operational management  etc. for Key raw material ( Pulp, Caustic, Coal, Sulphur) & finished goods ( Fiber, Salt & Sulphuric Acid)

 

  •           Prepare and analyze management and financial reports, budgets, expense reports and department forecasts.
  •          Ensure consistent quality of service in accordance with service level agreements.
  •          Manage the efficient supply chain for both inbound and outbound logistics planning in conjunction with warehouse operations.
  •          Manage cost efficient product distribution planning operations meeting marketing/customer’s agreed requirements and expectations, and compliance with all statutory and legal policies and procedures of international trade.
  •          Maintain performance statistics and ensure accurate record keeping of all operational documents related to logistics.
  •          Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Logistics function to meet departmental objectives.
