Senior PPIC

 Job Description:

General Requirements:

As a PPIC Engineer Cum. Production Engineer, you will be responsible for reporting to the PPIC Department by ensuring the implementation and optimization of MRP and DRP. You will work together with various departments to study, analyze, recommend, initiate, and complete tasks aimed at performance excellence and continuous improvement by applying project management knowledge and engineering process disciplines to your work to reduce manufacturing cost, improve productivity and maintain on-time delivery service level without compromising on safety and product quality. This will include:

  • Establish production and capacity plan based on Sales Marketing Plan;ppic
  • Establish Material Procurement Plan based on plans and stock conditions by calculating the production material requirements to maintain adequate safety stock;
  • Monitor and control all inventory for the production process, stock in the warehouse or imported to ensure optimum raw material utilization and control non-moving materials and slow-moving inventory in a plant;
  • Develop and implement a production schedule and release work orders using Project Management Tools to meet required customer service levels, while minimizing costs and maximizing production efficiency;
  • Monitor and track daily production plans, schedules, output, and various downtimes which affects the daily output plan;
  • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data. Performs mathematical computations to determine the reliability of manufacturing processes and tools and adequacy of manning requirements;
  • Responsible for maintaining the data integrity of the MRP, work orders, sales order alignment, and item level attributes;
  • Communicate actively with various departments to obtain accurate data and up to date to ensure that all needs are met to successfully execute the inventory, production and delivery plan;
  • Assisting in the creation of a culture of safety and health by performing work safely in accordance with all company safety procedures;
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualification :ppic2

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in INDUSTRIAL Engineering from a reputable university;
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented;
  • Excellent project management with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills;
  • MUST have advanced skills in Ms. Excel Spreadsheet and AutoCAD;
  • MUST have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement concepts in a team-oriented environment, such as Root Cause Analysis, SPC, 7-Quality Tools, and other trouble-shooting, problem-solving/continuous improvement tools;
  • Sound knowledge of Project Management Tools (such as CPM, Gantt Chart, etc.) and Project Management Software (such as Ms. Project, etc.) would be an asset;
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Risk Management would be a plus point;
