POSITION SUMMARY

Product Designer has the responsibility to design fully-functional products, improve existing products, create drawings, and define product specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• ·         Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners
• ·         Research materials and production processes
• ·         Define product specification and processing parameters
• ·         Coordinate prototypes production and testing
• ·         Improve existing products in term of design, performance, and production efficiency
• ·         Gather feedback from product users
• ·         Provide support on Product Costing calculation

SECONDARY FUNCTION

·         Any other tasks assigned by Departement Manager or Plant Manager from time to time.

AUTHORITY

• Create and define the product specification
• Create and maintain product drawing

PRIORITIES

·          Design new product and improve the existing product

• Financial value: As per ePMS annual targets
• Value of the business : TBI
• Operating budget : TBI
• No of staff/employee : < 10 persons

·       JOB SPECIFICATION

•         Education background: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, Engineering Physics, or other relevant fields.
• ·         Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Product Development Engineer, Process Engineer, or similar role in cable, electrical, or electronics manufacturing.
• ·         Hands-on experience with SAP.
• ·         Experience with complex electrical calculation and software.
• ·         Time-management skills.
