About the job Business Unit Head

Job Duties:

  • Formulate and execute BU sales strategy, business plan and P&L management to achieve growth targets
  • Lead sales and marketing initiatives for pharmaceutical (nutrition & drugs) and industrial channel products
  • Oversee demand planning, stock management and ROI optimization for investments and marketing activities
  • Drive market access, tendering, and provincial channel integration to expand coverage and competitiveness
  • Establish and manage channel development SOPs, monitor KPIs and optimize distribution performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and channel strategy with overall business goals
  • Build, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering transparent communication and strong execution
  • Track market trends, identify business opportunities, and ensure compliance in all commercial activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or above in Business, Life Sciences or related discipline; MBA 
  • preferred 10+ years sales and marketing experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare industry, with at least 5 years in leadership role
  • Solid track record in P&L management, channel development and tender/market access
  • Strong strategic planning, execution and analytical skills with proven business growth achievements
  • Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills
  • Proactive, result-oriented, able to work under pressure and adapt to market changes
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
