PROJECT & CONTEXT

You will contribute to the development of scalable, enterprise-grade applications within a fullstack environment, combining robust backend systems with modern frontend interfaces. The team operates in a collaborative agile setup, leveraging cloud platforms and modern development practices.

This role requires active participation across the full development lifecycle, including design, development, and optimization. You will also be expected to work with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) to enhance productivity and code quality.

The position follows a hybrid model (1 day per week in the office) and candidates must be based in Portugal.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11+)
• Solid experience with Node.js (v16+) and TypeScript (v4+)
• Experience working in full-stack environments, including React.js (v17+)
• Ability to understand, maintain, and contribute to frontend codebases
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar)
• Strong understanding of backend development best practices and architecture
• Experience working in agile methodologies
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience with NestJS (v9+)
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
• Previous experience in consulting or client-facing environments
