About the job NET Software Engineer - Porto/Hybrid (no set days)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a 25-year established technology company headquartered in Boston, working on a platform that processes millions of CVs and jobs daily, connecting people with their ideal career opportunities. As part of the EMEA expansion, you'll join a small, high-performing engineering team maintaining and evolving a mission-critical platform that serves the global staffing industry.

This is a founder-led organization with a people-first culture built on five core values: Ownership, Energy, Speed & Agility, Service, and Being Human. The company combines a casual, respectful atmosphere with a fast-paced, agile environment where smart, forward-thinking individuals challenge the status quo and bring fresh perspectives.

Work Model: Hybrid based in Porto

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll work on the TX Platform, the backbone of the company's matching technology. This is a production-critical system running on Kubernetes in AWS, following the "you build it, you run it" philosophy. While there's a significant maintenance and operational component, the role also involves developing new features and improvements according to the product roadmap.

The team is currently US-based but expanding EMEA coverage, meaning you'll collaborate closely with American colleagues and the Product team. This is not a cutting-edge R&D role - it's about maintaining, optimizing, and gradually evolving a stable, high-volume platform with real business impact.

The hiring process reflects the company's commitment to finding the right fit: initial interview, 30-minute assessment (personality + aptitude), customer interview, home assignment (max 4 hours), and final team interview.
