Delivery Manager (Innovation Projects) – Hybrid Porto Portugal (2–3 days/week office)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a highly driven Delivery Manager to join a newly created IT4IT area within a leading international organization in the financial services sector. This role is focused on innovation, transformation, and special strategic initiatives across multiple technology domains. The ideal candidate is someone proactive, hands-on, and execution-oriented, capable of driving initiatives forward in fast-paced and evolving environments. You will play a central role in connecting teams, accelerating delivery, and ensuring strategic priorities move from concept to execution.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

The IT4IT area has been created to support innovation, operational transformation, and cross-functional strategic projects across the organization. The Delivery Manager will work transversally across several initiatives, coordinating multiple teams, managing delivery roadmaps, and ensuring execution milestones are achieved. This is not a purely governance-focused role — the client is looking for someone highly dynamic, capable of identifying blockers early, pushing initiatives forward, and creating momentum across different stakeholders and technical teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or similar leadership role
• Strong experience managing cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Ability to coordinate several teams and ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Strong experience with project planning, roadmap management, and execution follow-up
• Hands-on and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in transformation, innovation, or strategic IT programs
• Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory)
• Fluency in English

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Exposure to innovation programs, emerging technologies, or AI-driven initiatives
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise transformation initiatives
