About the job Data Engineer (PL/SQL/Oracle/Pentaho) - Hybrid Lisboa/Porto (2 days/week office)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a market-leading technology company that dominates the Portuguese healthcare software landscape, powering management systems used by over 90% of the country's hospitals and pharmacies. As a Data Engineer, you'll be at the core of building, maintaining, and evolving the data infrastructure that supports critical healthcare operations across the nation. This mid-level position offers a compelling mix of technical challenge and real-world impact, working with complex data systems in an environment where data quality and integrity are paramount. A flexible hybrid model with only two days per week in office — available from both Lisboa and Porto — rounds out an attractive opportunity.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You'll be embedded in a project team, responsible for designing, maintaining, and migrating data structures that support healthcare reporting and operational systems. Your work will center around Oracle databases and Pentaho ETL pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration, transformation, and consistency across legacy and modern systems alike. You'll need to deeply understand existing data architectures, adapt and migrate structures where needed, and support reporting initiatives powered by Power BI. Given the critical nature of healthcare data, precision and integrity will be central to everything you do. Autonomy is encouraged — you'll be expected to take ownership of your technical tasks while collaborating closely with the broader project team.
