As Project Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of client-facing and internal transformation projects — operating across time zones, stakeholder layers, and functional teams. This is a high-visibility role for a driven, structured professional who thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You will be embedded within a delivery-focused team managing a portfolio of concurrent projects spanning product integration, client onboarding, and internal process improvement. Projects are typically cross-country in scope and involve collaboration with external clients, technology partners, and internal lines of business.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Delivering client-focused and internal projects on scope, time, and budget
- Leading project initiation — drafting Project Charters, RACI matrices, and facilitating kick-off sessions
- Running discovery sessions with clients and partners to validate requirements and acceptance criteria
- Building and managing detailed project plans, critical path analysis, and risk registers
- Structuring governance and controls aligned with the organisation's project management framework
- Chairing Project Steering Committees, stand-ups, and cross-functional checkpoint meetings
- Identifying, prioritising, and escalating risks and issues in a timely manner
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget changes through formal change control
- Coordinating resources across departments and reporting on project performance to senior stakeholders
- Producing regular status reports and maintaining complete, auditable project documentation
- Leading retrospectives and formal project closure activities
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of project management experience in a technology or financial services environment
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end
- Strong command of project management methodologies — Agile/Scrum and PMBOK/Waterfall
- Experience managing cross-border projects in a multi-time-zone, international context
- Skilled in risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation management
- Proficient with project management tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent)
- Excellent stakeholder management — able to influence and align at senior levels
- Highly organised, comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity
- Professional proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) — required for all internal and client-facing communication
NICE TO HAVE
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
- Background in InsurTech, FinTech, or telco-adjacent industries
- Experience working with product owners within a scaled agile framework (SAFe, LeSS, or similar)
- Familiarity with business analysis techniques — requirements elicitation, process mapping, use case definition
- Exposure to vendor and partner management in an ecosystem-driven delivery model
- Additional language skills (Portuguese, Spanish, or Asian languages) are a plus
