About the job DevOps Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes/Terraform) – Full Remote Portugal or Spain
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
A well-established consumer brand operating a large network of hospitality venues across multiple international markets is scaling its engineering function. The company runs a technology-forward operation for its sector and is genuinely committed to engineering quality, team autonomy, and long-term growth.
You'll be joining a modern, remote-first engineering team working at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, developer experience, and delivery automation — contributing directly to platforms that serve millions of end users daily. This is a hands-on role with real scope and tangible impact, not a maintenance position.
Working language is English. The role is open to candidates based in Portugal or Spain, fully remote with no office visits required.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
The engineering team runs a cloud-native stack on Microsoft Azure, with Kubernetes at the core of workload orchestration and Terraform underpinning infrastructure-as-code practices across environments. The team is responsible for maintaining and evolving these foundations while improving CI/CD pipelines and supporting delivery teams on a day-to-day basis.
Your focus will be on improving processes, reducing operational toil, and raising the bar on reliability and deployment confidence — not just keeping things running.

- Comfortable supporting and evolving CI/CD workflows in close collaboration with development teams
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken — team working language)
- Based in Portugal or Spain (fully remote, no office requirements)
