Senior .NET Developer (Trading/HFT/Low-Latency) - Full Remote Global

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A fintech specialised in trading platform development is looking for a Senior+ .NET Developer to join a team building professional-grade trading infrastructure. This is a high-performance engineering role for someone who lives and breathes low-latency .NET, has made real architecture decisions in production, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving, distributed fintech environment. There is a potential path to direct employment following the consulting engagement.

Language: English B2 minimum (fluent spoken and written required) | Level: Senior+ | Location: Fully remote, global | Timezone: Minimum 4h overlap with 9AM–5PM EST

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll be contributing to a professional-grade trading platform ecosystem — spanning desktop and web trader solutions and order management — where performance, reliability, and low latency are non-negotiable. Architecture decisions matter here, and you'll be expected to both make them and explain them clearly to a distributed international team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures, applied in performance-critical production contexts
• Deep hands-on experience with performance-critical .NET — multithreading, memory management, allocation optimisation, GC tuning, and use of Span<T> and structs
• Proven experience in trading, fintech, HFT, or low-latency/real-time systems
• Track record of making real architecture decisions in production environments, not just implementing requirements
• Experience mentoring other developers and elevating team engineering standards
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• Fluent English — spoken and written, with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions on calls with a distributed team
• Available for at least 4 hours of overlap with 9AM–5PM EST

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with OMS (Order Management Systems) or prop firm trading infrastructure
• Familiarity with desktop application development in .NET (WPF or similar)
• Background in market data processing or real-time data feeds
• Interest in or openness to subsequent direct employment with the client company

Compensation: €2,300 – €3,050/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
