DevOps Engineer (Docker/Ansible/CI-CD) - Hybrid Braga (3 days/week office)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a French firm delivering SaaS software solutions to SMEs. At their Innovation Centre in Braga, they're building a team of skilled engineers who love taking on significant technical challenges. This is a senior role for someone who combines strong technical depth with a creative, collaborative mindset.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll work in an agile environment alongside developers, product managers, and business leaders to continuously improve programs for speed and usability. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements and project KPIs, implementing development, testing, and automation tools, setting up infrastructure, and defining processes across the DevOps lifecycle (development, test, release, update, support). You'll review and validate code, troubleshoot and fix bugs, build and improve CI/CD pipelines, drive automation wherever possible, mentor team members, and coordinate closely with both the team and customers.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working in DevOps
• Experience with CI/automation tools (Vagrant, Docker, GitHub Actions CI, ELK, PHPUnit, Ansible, Grafana, Selenium, Tower/AWX, etc.)
• Experience with Linux-based infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
• Experience configuring and managing databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of cloud services and open-source tools
• Solid grasp of core DevOps and Agile principles
• B2 English (Upper Intermediate) or higher

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Fluent French

Compensation: €1.900 – €2.300/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
