Senior iOS Developer (Swift/RxSwift) – Fintech Platform, Remote (Global, EU Hours)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A high-stakes fintech environment is looking for a Senior iOS Developer with genuine experience in trading, brokerage, or financial services platforms. This is not a generic mobile role — the client operates live financial systems where performance, security, and reliability are non-negotiable. PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll be working on native iOS applications within a fintech platform, integrating with back-office systems and third-party financial services. The environment is live and demanding — you'll be expected to design, build, and support production-grade mobile applications where traceability, security, and data integrity are critical. The stack centres on Swift, with UIKit and SwiftUI for interface development and RxSwift for reactive, asynchronous data flows against RESTful backend services.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 4+ years of Swift and iOS development experience in production environments
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SwiftUI alongside UIKit (mixed/hybrid codebases)
• Strong command of RxSwift and reactive programming patterns
• Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows in client-facing apps
• Solid knowledge of secure coding practices and financial data handling requirements (secure storage, keychain usage, certificate pinning)
• Familiarity with OAuth/JWT authentication flows and biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID)
• Experience supporting live production apps — tracing issues, diagnosing root causes, and delivering fixes under pressure (including App Store release cycles)
• Ability to deliver scalable, maintainable iOS applications using modern Swift practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently across multiple workstreams
• Clear communication skills in English (B2 or above)
• Able to work fully remotely, available and overlapping with standard European working hours regardless of physical location

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Combine or async/await alongside RxSwift in migration contexts
• Familiarity with MVVM-C, Clean Architecture, or VIPER patterns in iOS solutions
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for iOS (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud) in fintech deployments
• Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements or compliance frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, PCI-DSS) as they apply to mobile applications
• Experience with App Store compliance and security review processes for financial apps

Compensation: €2,300 – €3000/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
