PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll be joining a lean engineering team working on a modern, evolving product in a software house setting. The stack is deliberately kept open to the best tool for the job — you'll be working primarily on the backend but contributing to a full-cycle delivery process. Expect real autonomy, real ownership, and real impact from day one. This is not a seat-warmer role.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 2–3+ years of backend development experience with Java

- Solid hands-on experience with Spring Boot

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure — any)

- Working knowledge of React or Angular with JavaScript or TypeScript (frontend exposure is a plus, but the focus is firmly on backend)

- Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Professional-level English — written and spoken

- Comfortable working in agile, remote-first environments with a high degree of independence

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience in a software house or product startup environment

- Strong opinions (loosely held) on engineering best practices and system design

- Track record of contributing to tech decisions beyond your immediate scope

- Exposure to TypeScript specifically, or modern frontend frameworks beyond React/Angular

- Comfort switching between technologies as project needs evolve — true tech agnosticism
