ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is an international business services group supporting SMEs across accounting, consulting, tax, audit, HR, legal services, and management software. From their Innovation Centre in Braga, they're building a team of skilled engineers who love tackling significant technical challenges within a growing international IT organization.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
As part of an SAP deployment project and the integration of new communication technologies between applications, you'll join the IT team managing the company's Information System. Within the project team, you'll propose inter-application interface solutions using Tibco ESB or Pentaho ETL, manage developments built with Tibco ESB for the SAP project, gradually migrate workflows from Microsoft SSIS ETL to Pentaho, define methodology for developing, deploying, and monitoring interface solutions, and oversee interface developments carried out by the team. You'll work closely with developers, project managers, and interface specialists, and contribute to technical documentation.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)
- Master's degree in IT with at least 2 years of experience in ESB technologies
- Experience managing REST APIs
- Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL)
- Extensive experience with ESB technologies (Tibco ESB or another microservices-oriented ESB solution)
- Experience deploying solutions across multiple environments throughout the development cycle
- Experience integrating monitoring/supervision tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Nagios
- B2 English (Upper Intermediate) or higher
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)
- Tibco ESB experience, particularly version 6
- Kong (API Gateway and service mesh)
- ETL experience with SSIS and Pentaho
- Strong analytical, methodical, and reporting skills
- Curiosity and openness to learning new technologies
Compensation: €1.600 – €1.900/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
