About the job Cybersecurity Project Manager - Hybrid Lisbon (3 days Remote/week)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the cybersecurity division of a large-scale, internationally recognized industrial group at a pivotal moment — the rollout of a multi-year strategic security roadmap. This is a hands-on project management role with real ownership, governance visibility, and cross-functional exposure across a complex, multi-country organization.
Work model is hybrid in Lisbon — 3 days remote, up to 2 days in office, with flexibility depending on project phase and team needs.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You'll be embedded in the cybersecurity team responsible for executing the 2026–2028 Cybersecurity Strategic Roadmap, managing a portfolio of concurrent initiatives across areas including Zero Trust, Data Protection, Messaging Security, Regulatory Compliance (NIS2, GDPR), and Application Security.
Concretely, this means leading projects from scoping through delivery — coordinating across business units, IT teams, cybersecurity specialists, vendors, and service providers. You'll be a key voice in governance committees, producing steering materials and portfolio reporting for senior stakeholders, while also running end-to-end RFI/RFP processes for cybersecurity solutions.
The environment is structured but fast-moving — a large enterprise that takes security seriously and has the roadmap, budget, and executive backing to prove it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)
- Mid to Senior level — solid track record managing cybersecurity or IT security projects in complex organizations
- Strong cybersecurity fundamentals — you understand the domain well enough to challenge vendors, validate scope, and communicate credibly with technical teams (Zero Trust, Data Protection, Application Security, Regulatory Compliance)
- Expert-level project management skills — from scoping and risk assessment to budget control and delivery governance
- Solid PMO experience — structured approach to portfolio tracking, status reporting, KPI/KRI dashboards, and committee management
- Proven experience managing RFI and RFP processes end-to-end for technology or security solutions
- Comfortable producing steering committee materials and presenting to senior governance boards
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks: NIS2, GDPR, and internal security standards
- Strong stakeholder coordination skills — you can align business, IT, security, and external vendors without losing momentum
- Budget management — tracking financial performance across multiple parallel projects
- English B2+ — working language for documentation and international stakeholder communication
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)
- Formal PM certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with DPSAT or DSIP internal security governance frameworks (or equivalent enterprise security policy structures)
- Experience with Agile/hybrid project methodologies in a security context
- Previous exposure to data protection solution deployments or messaging security projects
- Experience in large multinational or matrix organizations where stakeholder complexity is high
- French B2+
