Frontend Platform Developer (Angular/TypeScript) - Hybrid Lisbon (1/2 days/week office)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a leading global logistics technology organization transforming how parcels and goods are delivered across 40 countries. You will work on high-impact frontend applications that support enterprise-scale logistics operations, enabling real-time tracking, efficient routing, and seamless user experiences for both internal teams and end customers. This role provides the opportunity to shape the user interfaces of a modern, microservices-based logistics platform while contributing to shared libraries and design systems that will be used across multiple applications.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
As part of a major transformation program, the core logistics operating system is being rebuilt using microservices and modern frontend frameworks. You will work within a cross-functional IT frontend chapter, collaborating with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, DevOps, QA, and business analysts. The technology stack includes Angular 19+, TypeScript 5+, SCSS, HTML5, CSS3, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and cloud deployments on AWS. Emphasis is placed on building reusable components, implementing microfrontend patterns, and ensuring scalability, accessibility, and performance across all applications.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)
- 5+ years of professional web frontend development experience, preferably in enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency in Angular 19+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern browser debugging
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and AWS cloud deployments
- Knowledge of microfrontend architecture and component composition patterns
- Proven ability to build and maintain shared design systems and component libraries
- Strong focus on application performance, testing, accessibility, and code quality
- Sense of ownership and attention to detail in software delivery
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)
- Experience with refactoring legacy frontends to modern frameworks
- Familiarity with performance tuning, bundle optimization, and front-end scalability
- Exposure to documentation and adoption support for design systems
- Previous experience in logistics or large-scale operational systems
- Knowledge of frontend DevOps practices and cloud-native deployments
