Project Manager (Programs & Cross-Functional Delivery) – Hybrid Porto Portugal (2–3 days/week office)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a highly dynamic Project Manager to join a leading international organization in the financial services sector. This role is focused on coordinating and driving multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, acting as a key connection point between several business and IT areas. The ideal candidate is proactive, delivery-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where strong coordination, communication, and execution capabilities are essential.

You will work closely with senior leadership and directly report to the area manager, ensuring projects and programs remain aligned with strategic priorities and delivery objectives.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

This position involves managing multiple parallel projects and programs, ensuring alignment between different departments, stakeholders, and technical teams. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities, tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring smooth communication across all involved areas.

The environment is highly collaborative and requires someone capable of navigating complexity, maintaining momentum, and proactively driving execution. The role has a strong transversal component and requires visibility across several initiatives at the same time.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager
• Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience with project governance, planning, roadmap management, and reporting
• Strong organizational and execution management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Fluency in English (mandatory)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience in insurance or financial services environments
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
• Exposure to transformation or strategic IT initiatives
• Portuguese language skills
