Digital Analytics Engineer (Tealium/GTM/GA) - Full Remote Portugal

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a global software engineering company built on the belief that great software comes from great people. They're looking for a Digital Analytics Engineer to join an agile, collaborative team where technical expertise and personal voice carry equal weight. This is not a "just manage the databases" role — you'll act as a technical partner helping the organization migrate and modernize its digital analytics architecture. The culture values empathy, self-organization, and the courage to take risks, with a strong emphasis on knowledge-sharing and mentorship. Occasional national and international travel may be required depending on project needs (estimated 0-15%).

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll work closely with development teams and end clients to configure, maintain, and optimize digital analytics solutions across all digital properties. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical tracking solutions alongside Front-End developers, analyzing user behavior data to generate actionable insights, ensuring data consistency and quality across implementations, and integrating analytics platforms with advertising and social media channels. You'll also coordinate and prioritize analytics-related tasks across multiple concurrent projects.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Proven, hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with platforms such as Tealium (preferred), Google Tag Manager, or Adobe Launch.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript and Front-End development concepts for implementing tracking requirements
  • Strong task management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, bridging technical and business teams
  • Proven experience working with behavior analytics and driving data-driven website performance improvements
  • Knowledge of integrating analytics data with Google Ads and major social media platforms

Compensation: €2,000 – €2,700/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
