Data Visualisation & Reporting Specialist (Looker Studio/SQL) - Full Remote Portugal
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the Portugal team of one of Switzerland's leading telecommunications operators, working as a Data Visualisation & Reporting Specialist with a clear mandate: build reports and dashboards that are not just functional, but genuinely excellent. This is a role for someone who takes real pride in the look, feel, interactivity, and visual quality of their work — someone who understands that how data is presented is just as important as the data itself. If reporting is your craft and you hold yourself to high standards, this is the opportunity for you.
Language: English B2 minimum | Level: Mid-level | Location: Portugal-based, fully remote
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You'll be designing and building dashboards, customer journey visualisations, and self-service reporting that directly influence commercial decisions across Digital, Product, and Commercial teams. The primary tool is Looker Studio, working with rich digital behavioural data from web and app channels. The focus is unambiguously reports first — someone who can set and maintain high standards for how information is structured, visualised, and presented to senior stakeholders.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong, demonstrable experience building high-quality dashboards and reports in Looker Studio — experience in Tableau or Power BI also considered
- Advanced SQL skills — essential, not optional; you must be comfortable exploring and analysing complex datasets independently
- Exceptional understanding of dashboard UX, information design, and data storytelling — you think carefully about chart selection, layout, interactivity, and visual hierarchy
- Experience designing funnel, journey, and behavioural visualisations across web and app channels
- Genuine passion for creating beautiful, intuitive, and impactful data visualisations — this is the core of the role
- Experience working with Google Analytics 4 and digital behavioural data
- Ability to develop and maintain self-service reporting that empowers non-technical stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness — able to translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to senior business audiences
- English B2 or above
- Based in Portugal, available to work fully remotely
NICE TO HAVE
- A portfolio showcasing dashboard design and data visualisation work — this will carry real weight in the hiring process
- Experience with bespoke or interactive visualisations using D3.js, React, Streamlit, R Shiny, Dash, or similar
- Experience with BigQuery and/or Tealium AudienceStream
- Experience analysing digital customer journeys and conversion funnels
- Background in telecommunications, digital, or e-commerce environments
- Python or R for analytical automation
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation analysis
