System Administrators (Linux / Windows / AI) – Hybrid Porto Portugal (2–3 days/week office)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for two System Administrators to join a strategic infrastructure transformation program within a leading international organization in the financial services sector. This role is ideal for professionals who combine strong system administration expertise with a forward-looking mindset, leveraging automation and AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on modernizing infrastructure and improving reliability, scalability, and performance.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

The main focus of this role is the management and evolution of hybrid infrastructure environments, including both Linux and Windows systems. You will be involved in system upgrades, application updates, and infrastructure migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. The environment is complex and business-critical, requiring strong operational discipline and proactive problem-solving. AI-powered tools will be increasingly used to support daily activities such as monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation of repetitive tasks.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Proven experience as a System Administrator
• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows Server environments
• Experience with system upgrades, patching, and migrations
• Solid understanding of system performance, availability, and security best practices
• Experience working in hybrid infrastructure environments
• Scripting skills
• Experience or interest in using AI-assisted tools for system administration tasks
• Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform or similar)
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Englishlanguage skills
