About the job Instructional Designer (Articulate Storyline/Adobe) - Full Remote Portugal
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a rare chance to join a well-known Swiss telecommunications leader - one of Europe's most innovative challenger brands - through their growing Portugal hub. You'll be part of a forward-thinking team that genuinely invests in people development, where your work directly shapes how thousands of frontline employees learn, grow, and perform.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You'll be embedded in the Learning & Development function of a fast-moving Telco environment, collaborating with stakeholders across Portugal and Switzerland to design digital learning experiences that support strategic business initiatives. The focus is heavily on behavioural and soft-skills development - helping frontline teams grow in areas like communication, leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness. The scope spans the full content lifecycle - from stakeholder alignment and instructional design through production, delivery, and continuous optimisation. This is a full-remote position, with occasional in-person visits to the Lisbon office for team events or when the Swiss team is in town.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Proven experience designing and developing soft-skills learning content — communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, teamwork, or similar behavioural competencies
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centred design, with the ability to translate behavioural concepts into engaging, actionable digital experiences
- Advanced proficiency with Articulate Storyline and graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards for content deployment and tracking
- Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling skills — able to make abstract soft-skills topics concrete, relatable, and measurable through digital modules, storyboards, quizzes, and assessments
- Proven ability to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), project managers, trainers, and communications specialists
- Solid project management skills — comfortable managing multiple content development projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and managing stakeholder expectations
- Experience using learner feedback, performance data, and evaluation metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Advanced user of PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality, accessibility, and user experience
