About the job SimReady Asset Validation Specialist / 3D Technical Artist - Anywhere
SimReady Asset Validation Specialist (USD/Omniverse) - Full Remote Global
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a forward-thinking organization at the forefront of industrial digital transformation, where you'll define and operationalize asset standards that power the next generation of simulation, digital twins, and AI training workflows. This is a unique role that combines 3D artistry with technical validation expertise, positioning you as the guardian of quality for simulation-ready assets used across robotics, autonomous systems, and industrial applications. You'll work with cutting-edge NVIDIA technologies and establish the foundation for scalable, reusable asset ecosystems that serve multiple high-impact use cases. This position offers the rare opportunity to shape standards and processes from the ground up, working with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, AI, robotics, and digital twin architecture in a fully remote, global environment where your expertise will directly influence how industrial simulations are built and deployed.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You will be responsible for ensuring that 3D assets meet NVIDIA SimReady specifications and are fit for use in physically accurate simulation, digital twins, AI training, and synthetic data generation workflows. Your work will focus on validating assets against comprehensive criteria including geometry, materials, physics properties, semantics, and metadata. You'll design and implement a standardized SimReady asset lifecycle process covering creation, ingestion, validation, and publishing, while establishing quality gates, checklists, and acceptance criteria. The role requires you to perform compliance checks on assets for Omniverse-based simulations, identify non-compliance issues, and provide corrective guidance to asset creators and suppliers. You'll also create, adapt, and optimize 3D assets to be SimReady-compliant, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and cross-platform requirements. This position sits at the critical intersection of 3D content creation, simulation engineering, and industrial digital transformation, where you'll act as the subject matter expert for SimReady standards and support partners, vendors, and external providers in meeting these requirements.
